Olive Oil
As of 1 November 2009 Olive Oil liquid has been removed from Part VIII of the Drug Tariff. All prescriptions for Olive Oil from this date must be endorsed with the brand, manufacturer or wholesaler. If no endorsement is present for what has been supplied then prescriptions will be returned resulting in delayed payments and inconvenience for contractors.
A new CE marked medical device (Care Olive Oil ear drops) has been added to Part IX of the Drug Tariff.
