NHS Prescription Services have published the following reports as a result of receiving numerous Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for this data. The information provided in these reports can be released under the Data Protection Act.
Dispensing Practice Name and Address
This is a monthly report which provides the name and address of dispensing practices for each PCT. The report also shows how many GPs are in each practice and how many of them are dispensing GPs.
Monthly Items for Practices
This is a monthly rolling report which shows the number of items and NIC (from May 2010 Report) prescribed for each practice which have been dispensed and the form submitted to the NHS Prescription Services for payment. The report also includes the name and address for each practice.
Monthly Medicine Use Reviews for Pharmacies
This report shows the number of Medicine Use Reviews claimed by each NHS Pharmacy Contractor for the named month. The reports also provide the contractors name and address.
Monthly New Pharmacy Contract Information
This is a monthly report which shows the total number of pharmacies and the total payment amount for each PCT for the following pharmacy contract payments: Practice Payments, Establishment Payments, Transition Payments, Repeat Dispensing, FP57 Refunds, Medicine Use Reviews & ETP Allowance.
Monthly PCT Items and Fees
This is a monthly rolling report which shows the number of items and fees for each PCT. The number of fees reported shows the number of professional fees paid to the contractor.
