Primary Care Medicine Management and Financial Information Systems Workshops

Please note that these events were held during 2010 and are now finished.  This page is here for reference only.

Do you use any of the following systems and reports?

  • ePACT.net
  • Prescribing Toolkit
  • Itemised Prescribing Payment Report (IPP)
  • Programme Budget Categories (PBC)
  • Prescribing Monitoring Document (PMD)
  • MIS report

Would you like the opportunity to help shape the future development of these information systems and reports?

NHS Prescription Services is hosting workshops across England to understand the views of people who use their primary care prescribing information systems and reports. As well as getting input from senior managers within PCTs, we are also keen to hear the views of individuals that use these reports in their day to day work within the PCT medicines management and finance teams.

If this is not relevant to you, please pass on this web link to the relevant individual in your organisation.

We are inviting users to an interactive half-day workshop, including lunch, to understand your views and your future requirements for these information services. The workshops will be run jointly by NHS Prescription Services and Deloitte. They will include presentations and structured breakout sessions to elicit direct feedback from all participants across the range of reports produced by NHS Prescription Services. The objective is to:

  • Identify what works well and areas for improvement
  • Define a comprehensive but realistic list of user needs
  • Help set the direction for any future development

Please follow this link to give us your preliminary views and get a taste of the topics to be covered in the workshop. This will only take 2 minutes of your time.

The locations, dates and times of workshops are laid out below.  If you can't make the workshop listed for your Strategic Health Authority, you are welcome to attend a workshop in another SHA's area if that better suits your calendar and travel arrangements.
