An additional payment of £1,000 will be made automatically to qualifying contractors in the April’s advance payment made in June 2010, as referenced in Drug Tariff Part XIVB. Further information is provided in the additional guidance information for pharmacy contractors.
Drug Tariff Part XIVB also sets out the arrangements for contractors to request a check of a month or month’s prescription forms if they think their payments processed through the new NHS Prescription Services payment system up to 31 March 2009 has been significantly affected.
Requests for checking need to be submitted in writing using the form NHSRxS recheck form v1.0 (April 2010).
The form will need to be completed for each month that a check is being requested.
