England Infected Blood Support Scheme

Following the announcement regarding the final Infected Blood Inquiry report, we are aware that Sir Brian Langstaff’s report will be published on 20 May 2024.

The NHS Business Services Authority does not have any further information about the contents of the report. However, you can find further information about the announcement on the Inquiry’s page.

We will continue to work closely with the Department of Health and Social Care regarding any recommendations made. We’ll update our website with further information as soon as this is available.

The UK Government is working towards introducing a new law to establish the Infected Blood Compensation Scheme. This will not have any immediate impact on your support payments. You can find further information about this new law on our UK Government update page.
