Some controls and elements on the login screens do not have associated or corresponding labels. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.6 (Headings and Labels) and 3.3.2 (Labels or Instructions).
Some elements on the login screens have incorrect tab indexing meaning keyboard navigation could be affected. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.3 (Focus Order).
We plan to fix these accessibility issues. When we publish new content, we will make sure it meets accessibility standards.

This statement was prepared on 7 September 2021 It was last reviewed on 30 September 2021.
This website was last tested on 3 September 2021. The test was carried out by the NHSBSA test and front-end development teams.
We tested all of the website screens to meet ‘AA’ WCAG 2.1 standards, using manual and automated tests.
We run each webpage through automated Wave, Lighthouse and Axe accessibility tools then manually test with screen readers (NVDA or VoiceOver) and standards checklists.
We run representative user journey tests through speech recognition software (Dragon or Voice Control).
These checklists contain standards that have been compiled using WCAG, the NHS service manual and the Government Digital Service (GDS) guidance.
