Vital signs

NHS Dental Services provide vital signs reports to health bodies and dental providers. These reports include measures which help with monitoring contracts across 4 key areas, which are:

  • access
  • activity
  • quality
  • finance

The reports are published on a quarterly basis with the exception of the end of year report which is published each year in July.

We provide other contract level reports for local health bodies (LHBs) to assist with their local contract monitoring processes.

Health body versions

The reports for health bodies are accessed via Compass and are produced on a quarterly basis.

If you're a health body representative who requires access to the regular reports, contact us by email at nhsbsa.dentalservices@nhs.net so we can advise you on how to get access.
