NHS Protect

NHS Protect is the national body leading on work to protect NHS staff and resources from crime.

A new organisation is being created to tackle fraud, bribery and corruption within the health service in England. This will be known as the NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA). The NHSCFA began in shadow form in April 2017 and it will be established as an independent special health authority in autumn 2017.
