Our team is funded by the DHSC and NHS England, so our support is generally free of charge to the partners we work with.

Research and engagement

Our horizon scanning and research activities help us to gain insight across the NHS landscape.

Our insight is derived from a wide range of sources, including:

We engage with our colleagues across the wider NHS to understand the opportunities, which exist to improve patient care, reduce waste, increase efficiency and minimise opportunities for fraud or error in the way NHS services are accessed or delivered.

We also collaborate with internal experts to identify innovative ways of working, which can be adopted nationally to embed sustainable change and service improvement.

Analysis and design

Our data is one of our most valuable assets. Our growth plans include using our expertise in digital, data analytics and insight to add value to the wider healthcare system. This is in order to influence national discussions.

Pacific has worked in partnership with key stakeholders both internal and external throughout the wider NHS to design and develop key products, services and process improvements.


Pacific has been instrumental in bringing a broad range of stakeholders together, including clinical experts and decision makers from various NHS organisations, to facilitate change initiatives and drive service improvements.

Programme management

Pacific has an abundance of programme / project management and planning expertise, to help planning and delivery of projects. This includes risk and dependency management.

We deploy both agile and waterfall techniques, depending upon the needs of our projects.

Our programme governance arrangements ensure that we target our resources at opportunities that are consistent with the policy and clinical requirements of the NHS. This allows us to deliver significant value that can be quantified and measured.

Spread and adoption support

To aid national spread and adoption of initiatives, we develop resources such as case studies, toolkits and dashboards to support improvements in health care and make savings.
