PPE Portal for dental and orthodontic providers

The following is an announcement on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care:

This announcement follows a previous announcement from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) about the PPE Portal as it pertains to eligible dental and orthodontic providers. This announcement confirms that the following items were further made available through the portal since the following dates, free of charge: gowns on Friday 16 October, FFP2 masks on Friday 30 October and FFP3 masks on Thursday 5 November. The DHSC keeps order limits under review based on the latest available public health guidance, COVID-19 trends, PPE requirements modelling and analysis, and provider feedback.

The latest guidance, including order limits for dentists and orthodontists of varying sizes, can be found on the GOV.UK website.

Guidance on order limits for dentists (those who self-identify as the majority of their activity undertaken being dental) can be found on the GOV.UK website.

Guidance on order limits for orthodontists (those who self-identify as the majority of their activity undertaken being orthodontic) can be found on the GOV.UK website.

Call the PPE portal’s customer service team on 0800 876 6802 if you have any questions about using the PPE portal (including, for example, about registration, ordering and if you think you should have been invited but have not been).
