We’ve identified an error in how we reported the assumed daily doses (ADDs) of tirzepatide KwikPens in primary care. These devices were recorded as containing a single dose, when they contained four doses. For example, Mounjaro KwikPen 10mg/0.6ml inj 2.4ml pre-filled pens were reported as 10mg per pack when this should be 40mg as there are four 10mg doses in the pack. As a result, the device ADDs were under-reported by a factor of four.
This affected medicines grouping data in the Power BI dashboard and also data in the supporting CSV archives on medicines groupings.
The affected data tables and dashboard have now been corrected and republished. We’ve introduced an additional quality control step to ensure this issue does not occur in future releases.
