This funding is to support employers who are delivering the adults assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) for newly qualified social workers (NQSWs).
It supports NQSWs to remain in the profession for longer, advance their careers, develop their skills and specialisms and deliver higher standards for practice. It does this by allowing eligible employers of NQSWs to claim towards costs they have incurred when delivering the scheme via support and assessment activities.
We administer the ASYE fund on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care.
How and when to apply
If you are an employer and would like to start claiming, you should:
- review the ASYE eligibility guidance
