Information about how you can claim your travel and dual accommodation expenses following a placement.
Similar to the Practice Placement Expenses detailed in the NHS Bursary Scheme, the new Travel and Dual Accommodation Expenses (TDAE) will reimburse excess costs incurred when undertaking practical training on placements.
Please note that this model is currently available for 2017/18 and further work is being done to clarify what will happen in 2018/19 and beyond.
Applications for TDAE opened on 1 November 2017. We have produced a handy guide to help you when completing your TDAE application form:
Don't forget to attach your student coversheet to your application form as this helps us allocate the form and any evidence to your account.
If this is your first application for an element of LSF you will need to send us a copy of your student finance letter as evidence you're in receipt of funding. Please note we are unable to return this letter.
Once we have received your application and all relevant evidence we will process your application within 25 working days.
