Payments during school closures

We've received confirmation from the Department of Health and Social Care that all NHS Bursary payments will continue to be paid as normal during the period of school and university closures. Eligible students should continue to apply for payments as normal.

When you post something to us you must:

  • write your LSF reference number above the first line of our address
  • include your LSF coversheet (you can get this from your online account)
  • include a pre-paid stamped addressed envelope for your supporting documents to be returned to you.


We and the Department of Health and Social Care take fraud very seriously. We know that the majority of students are honest, but some do make fraudulent claims.
