Dental assurance reviews

COVID-19 update: We've agreed with NHS England and NHS Improvement to pause a number of our assurance exercises.

This is to help manage the increased pressure on dental providers. More information can be found in our briefing document about the pausing of assurance exercises (PDF: 112KB).

Provider Assurance Dental (PAD) carry out reviews of contractual activity.

These reviews may be national and focused on the highest risk contracts for a specific scenario. Alternatively, they may be initiated by commissioners following concerns raised locally or identified from routine reporting.

Reviews are administered by the PAD team led by our Clinical Advisers.
