Personal details and financial summary
This section shows the information your employer held for you on 31 March of the statement year. If you're a deferred member, it shows the information we held for you instead.
It includes a summary of your total pay and benefits for the year.
If you only see pension details, this means it came from information held by us.
Summary information
This part of your statement shows the information for the previous scheme year, including:
- the payments you received
- the pension contributions your employer made
You can watch our video on YouTube to learn more about the information in your Total Reward Statement or Annual Benefit Statement.
Employer pension contributions
On 1 April 2024, the employer contributions paid towards your pension increased to 23.7%. The increase was centrally funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. Only 14.3% is paid by your employer. Because of this, the additional 9.4% of payments is not included in any of the total employer annual contribution figures on your statement. However, you still receive the equivalent of 23.7% of your salary paid into your pension.
The value of employer contributions shown on your statement does not affect the standard benefits we have quoted for you within your statement.
Local employer benefits (Total Reward Statements only)
This section shows the benefits your employer offers locally, such as:
- childcare vouchers
- travel passes
- gym membership
- car leasing
You may have chosen to use some of these benefits already. To access extra benefits, contact your employer using the details in the local benefits section.
Your employer provides this information and it could change throughout the year.
