Changes to the Single Activity Fee and the Category M reimbursement prices in Part VIII in the August Drug Tariff.
Category M reimbursement prices are being amended from 1 August 2019. This is outside of the usual three monthly cycle, in which Category M reimbursement prices are updated because the Department of Health and Social Care, with the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee’s agreement, is increasing Category M reimbursement prices by £15 million per month. This is informed by medicine margin survey and will be kept under review.
As per usual arrangements, Category M reimbursement prices will be published on this website in due course.
The Single Activity Fee will increase from £1.26 to £1.27 from 1 August 2019.
