From 24 April 2023 the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service Tier 1 Advanced Service will be launched – details of service and links to the associated Service Specification and Patient Group Direction (PGD) are included.
Separately, contractors should note that updates to the Community Pharmacist Consultation Advanced Service include a reduction in the grace period to claim for activity, from six months to three months. This change will be reflected from the May Drug Tariff.
The Drug Tariff has been amended to reflect these changes and includes amendments to The Pharmaceutical Services (Advanced and Enhanced Services) (Amendment) (England) Directions 2023.
