We're delivering you the following message on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement.
The Advanced Service element of the Medicines Delivery Service (MDS) for self-isolating patients from pharmacies and dispensing doctors, ceased on 5 March 2022. Contractors are reminded that no medicine deliveries should have been made as part of the Medicines Delivery Service after this date.
The payment for the essential element of the MDS continued until the end of March, and this will now also cease.
Contractors should note that claims for deliveries made on or before the 5 March 2022 must be submitted no later than 5 April 2022. After this date no further claims will be processed.
