It has become apparent that NHS Pensions are not receiving FPC 1 forms when they are required. These forms should be sent in alongside the AW8 Award application where there is an increase in excess of 7% during the last 3 years of employment.
This is resulting in unnecessary correspondence for Employers and the NHS Pensions as they are having to request completion of the FPC 1 form where a charge is indicative.
In addition, where a member is following a National PayScale, could you please include a copy of the members salary history so that the team can quickly ascertain if an exemption applies.
