This is a message on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care
The following changes to the Drug Tariff have been agreed to apply from Wednesday 1 April 2026:
- The fee that pharmacy contractors will receive for providing the Lateral Flow Device (LFD) Tests Supply Service has been updated. From Wednesday 1 April 2026, a fee of £4.19+VAT will be paid.
- Updated wording provides clarity to pharmacy contractors regarding the eligibility criteria of the NHS Pharmacy First Service monthly fixed payment.
- New legal directions for the Community Pharmacy COVID-19 and Adult Influenza Vaccination Advanced Service are being included ahead of the service launch on Wednesday 1 April 2026. The service specification for this service can be viewed on the NHS England website.
