NHS Pensions is prioritising retirement estimates for members affected by voluntary or compulsory redundancy. To speed up this process, we’re asking Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to submit outstanding estimate requests at their earliest convenience and provide us with a quick data confirmation.
We’re asking employers to:
- submit requests: Send any outstanding estimate requests for eligible, affected staff. Full details on how to do this can be found on our Getting a redundancy estimate webpage
- reply to email: Respond directly to the NHS Pensions email with the three figures listed below
Information required from employers:
- Total members in your ICB who need a redundancy estimate
- Number of requests you have already submitted
- Number of requests you still need to submit
We understand that this creates additional administration for employers, and we are grateful for your help and support.
