The following text has been removed from the September 2015 Drug Tariff:
Additional fee for March 2015 for pharmacy contractors
In the month of March 2015 only, pharmacy contractors (England and Wales) will receive an additional fee. This fee is to be paid according to their dispensing activity from April 2014 to December 2014.
An additional fee of 3.3p will be paid for every professional fee the pharmacy contractor received during the period April 2014 to December 2014.
The additional fee will be applied to the final payment for March 2015 and no endorsement will be required. Ceased or closed accounts prior to 1 March 2015 and contractors not submitting any claim for March 2015 will not be entitled to a payment.
Where contractor F codes (England) or CP codes (Wales) have changed, the contractor will need to contact the NHSBSA (England) or NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (Wales) at the addresses below to ensure all their professional fees are considered.
