In early 2026, the NHSBSA will be migrating the Pensions Online (POL) system to the cloud as part of the Touch Admin upgrade.
The current proposal includes approximately 1 week of downtime around the end of January 2026. During this downtime, the POL system will be unavailable. The team are working to finalise the proposal and there will be further communication nearer the time outlining the exact dates and expected outage duration.
The project team are working with employers to test the new HSCN connection to the POL system. This will be an activity all employers will need to complete to ensure continued access to POL post-migration. A small group of employers are currently planned for this testing, with the view to expand to all employers prior to go-live.
