Members of the NHS Pension Scheme affected by the public service pensions remedy (‘McCloud’ remedy), can now use the Remedy Benefits Illustrator to understand how their remedy choice is likely to affect their overall pension.
Members can explore how different factors, like retirement age or the amount of lump sum they wish to take, may affect their pension benefits.
In addition, a package of resources are available on the NHS Pensions website to help employers support members through the redundancy process. The resources currently include member and employer user guides for use of the VR illustrator:
