This is a message on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care
The following changes have been agreed between the Department of Health and Social Care and Community Pharmacy England for inclusion in the Drug Tariff following the conclusion of the 2026/27 consultation.
Contractors should be aware that the following parts of the Drug Tariff have been updated to include details from the 2026/27 deal for contractors. Further details are included in the letter to contractors.
Drug Tariff Part IIIA
- Contractors should note the Single Activity Fee will increase from £1.46 to £1.52 from May 2026.
Drug Tariff Part VIC
- Changes to the NHS Pharmacy First Service caps including details of an updated methodology
- Changes to the New Medicine Service caps
Drug Tariff Part VIIA
- The 2026/27 Pharmacy Quality Scheme commences on Tuesday`2 June 2026. You can find the full details here.
