NHSBSA to streamline pharmacy claims process with updated digital portal   

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is rolling out key updates to its Manage Your Service (MYS) Pharmacy portal on Thursday 21 August 2025. The planned updates will make it easier for pharmacy contractors across England to submit and manage their claims.    

Pharmacy contractors will see the following updates:   

  • a redesigned side panel: a new layout with clearer navigation links to different section 
  • status messages: these are to inform contractors of changes and support them with their claim submissions. Any status messages will appear as a yellow banner at the top of the portal  
  • an archiving feature: a section for archiving disallowed prescription items that contractors do not wish to challenge  
  • an updated referred-backs section which will have:
  1. a cleaner layout using expanders so you can focus on relevant information  
  2. help text next to fields requiring information to reduce errors and speed up claim submissions  
  3. automatic archiving of prescription items after you have been paid   

The portal update is part of the NHSBSA’s ongoing strategy to improve services for healthcare providers by developing modern, secure and scalable digital services and technology platforms.
