Orthodontic providers with contracts starting in April 2019 or after, must submit Peer Assessment Rating (PAR) scores on Compass twice a year within the submission window. These are:
- 10 claims from 1 April and the end of September
- 10 claims from 1 October and the end of March
The current window will close on 30 September 2023.
How to find the claims
To find the claims, click on ‘activity’ on the Compass home page, and then on ‘ortho PAR score sample request’. Compass will list the claims you must PAR score.
What you need to do
- Submit a request in Compass for 10 cases you completed in the submission window. If you do not have 10 claims to PAR score within the submission window, you will receive an error message. Contact us about this at nhsbsa.dentalservices@nhsbsa.nhs.uk
- Send the cases to your chosen independent calibrated examiner.
- Enter your PAR scores in Compass and submit them by 11:59pm on 30 September 2023. Make sure you do so as soon as possible. Entries cannot be submitted retrospectively.
