From 1 May 2020, to allow pharmacy contractors to safely conduct essential services in pharmacy premises during the Covid-19 pandemic, a contribution will be payable to pharmacies to cover the general costs of adjustments to support social distancing. The determination for the payment contribution for adjustments to support social distancing is available in the Drug Tariff Part VIA contribution payment document (PDF: 64KB).
For specials and imported unlicensed products, not listed in Part VIIIB, pharmacy contractors should note changes to the requirements around Certificate of Analysis (COA)/Certificate of Conformity (COC) which are outlined in the determination available in the Drug Tariff Part VIIIB document (PDF: 24KB).
