If your practice has been awarded additional funds following NHS England and NHS Improvement's £50m funding announcement, it is essential that you select the Flexible Commissioning indicator ‘Securing Access for Urgent Care’ when submitting FP17s for patients attending urgent care sessions.
You must select the 'Securing Access for Urgent Care' indicator to:
- ensure delivery of these urgent care sessions can be identified and included in reports
- allow your activity to be correctly reported against the additional funding and not part of your standard contracted activity
If you submit your FP17s through a Dental Practice Management System and you are unsure where the Securing Access for Urgent Care indicator is, please contact your supplier directly.
If you submit your FP17s through Compass on-line forms, the Securing Access for Urgent Care indicator is under the Treatment dates/Incomplete tab.
