This is an announcement on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
New Secretary of State Directions are published today 29th March 2021 and introduce the Community Pharmacy COVID-19 Lateral Flow Device Distribution Service which will be known publicly as Pharmacy Collect. It will see community pharmacies providing LFD Home testing kits to the public in England.
Also published is the Determination, including information on the weekly data submissions of via the MYS Portal which will inform payments and meet MHRA requirements on traceability. The early sign up payment is available for contractors who sign up by 23:59 on the 18 April 2021.
Pharmacy contractors are able to sign up from today 29 March via the MYS portal and order stock from the list of wholesalers.
Pharmacy contractors should note that the Directions and Determination are not reflected in the published March and April Drug Tariffs.
