Read the following guidance before submitting your request to access eDEN.
If you're a provider requiring access to eDEN, you must complete the Provider access to eDEN registration form (Word: 71KB) or the Practice manager access to eDEN registration form (Word: 71KB).
All users must agree to the terms of the eDEN User Agreement (Word: 256KB) before being given access.
Access to eDEN is not available to corporate providers at this time.
Who can register
Access to eDEN is available to NHS Commissioners in England and Wales who can provide a valid reason for requiring access to view the data.
England Commissioner users must specify the integrated care boards (ICBs) they wish to register under. If users require access to multiple or all ICBs this must be stated when requesting access and a valid reason given why access is required.
National-level data is available to organisations who can provide a valid reason for requiring access to view the data.
Individual providers and practice managers are also able to register for access to a single provider organisation.
Levels of access available
There a number of different levels of access available.
England Commissioner level:
- Single ICB
- Multiple ICB
- National (all ICBs)
Wales Commissioner level:
- National
Provider level:
- Single provider
How to Register
To register for eDEN, email us at DataServicesSupport@nhsbsa.nhs.uk, including the level of access required and any reasons why access is needed.
For Provider level access please attach either the Provider access to eDEN registration form (Word: 71KB) or the Practice manager access to eDEN registration form (Word: 71KB).
Once you’ve activated your account, your user ID will be deactivated if you do not access the system in the time period listed:
- Standard User Access – 6 consecutive months.
