Open days and educational webinars

We hold open days both onsite and online so our customers can get an insight into how we process prescriptions.

An onsite visit usually lasts 90 minutes while our online versions last 60 minutes.

The online presentation covers the same information as the onsite visit and is live, so you can ask any questions you may have as would be the case if you attended in person.

Online sessions mirror a site visit where you will see prescriptions arriving onsite, discover how they are prepared, scanned and processed before being paid.

It will also cover essential hints and tips on subjects such as batch submission, endorsing, fee claiming and switching. These sessions can be tailored to suit your needs.

If you’re involved in sending in prescriptions for reimbursement and remuneration may find our open days useful, especially if you are a:

  • pharmacist
  • dispensing doctor
  • GP who claims for personally administrated items
  • dispensing appliance contractor
  • university pharmacy student
  • trainee pharmacist

We also hold two webinar sessions for dispensing contractors on popular topics to keep you informed and answer any questions you may have. Subjects include:

  • endorsing including referred backs
  • batch submission and switching

These sessions usually last around 30 minutes
